If we see a teenager walking with a cell phone pressed to her ear, we've seen enough. The upbringing, the peer influence, the commercial pressure, all reflect on her face--a face of youthful longings. Her desire is to be connected, reckoned with, and noticed. Nothing's wrong with that. She is young; she deserves to be well connected, properly reckoned with, and unmistakably noticed.
