Wild Wiki

PBwiki (see previous post) has added the choice of making its sites public so the pages can be linked out. To see an example click here.

First and foremost, wiki is about ease of use. You can be totally ignorant of HTML yet learn to create wiki pages in minutes by following their simple instructions.

The jury is still out on the virtue of wiki. Will it some day replace blogs? Personal journals? Social networking sites? Or perhaps instant messaging? As for the latter, with the limitation of CB-radio-like you-talk-then-I-talk awkwardness, it could be replaced by some kind of "wiki chat room", in which all participants, not just two, can engage in more lively exchanges. Well, we'll see. Revolution never stops.
