In the 60s, Jean Seberg actively supported NAACP and Native Americans, and for that the FBI tapped her phones and spread vicious rumors about her. She sank into deep depression, first tried unsuccessfully to kill herself by jumping onto the train tracks in Paris, then eventually succeeded by taking a mixture of barbiturates and alcohol. Lucky for us, her photogenic images are forever preserved in many movies, including Jean-Luc Godard's French New Wave masterpiece, "Breathless".
The soundtrack of this video is "Groovy Situation" by Gene Chandler.
